Explore the Giza Plateau in Private With an Egyptologist Guide
Only have one day for Giza?
This private one-day Giza Plateau tour is designed to give you an in-depth experience of the pyramids, tombs, Sphinx, and surrounding necropolis without committing to a multi-day itinerary.
Spend approximately 3–5 hours exploring the Giza Plateau with a qualified Egyptologist guide who will explain the history, answer your questions, and give you the time to actually experience the site rather than rushing you from one monument to another.
Your Giza experience includes the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the last surviving Wonder of the Ancient World; the pyramid complexes of Khafre and Menkaure; the Great Sphinx; queens’ pyramids and tombs; and a panoramic view of the Giza Plateau from the desert.
Depending on the option selected and site availability, your experience can also include entry inside the Great Pyramid of Khufu and the Pyramid of Menkaure.
You can also see how traditional papyrus is produced from the papyrus plant and receive a brief introduction to ancient Egyptian deities and symbolism. A meal can be added as an option.
